Getting Ready…
Starting a business from home has been a little challenging. I thought I’d update the blog and tell everyone who is reading this a little about what I have been up to the last couple of weeks.
I have been actively spending every spare minute I have aside from cooking , cleaning, driving my kids around, grocery shopping, weeding the yard, and other mom things I do everyday, creating items for me to sell.
Trying to transition from doing the stay at home mom thing (which is very time consuming in itself) to starting my own business has been challenging.
Challenging, but exciting!
So, there is a ton of content to learn about how to navigate the online world now. Starting a business from home appears to be a lot more manageable now than it was when I was growing up. I have to learn things about SEO (search engine optimization), marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube.
Not only am I attempting to take in the huge amount of information out there, but I am also trying to learn more about Printmaking. Oh and finding time to make prints!!!
There are only so many hours in the day.
I understand why people say that starting their own business is difficult. Because it is.
Sticking with it!!
Hopefully I have the determination and the magic and the drive to continue on this venture. It seems super challenging and time consuming, but its also exciting.
So, if your wondering what I am getting ready for, here’s the answer: I am getting ready for some upcoming art shows, to sell my art in real life and selling on my website. That and trying to be a good mom and wife! Hope it’s possible to maintain everything. (Wish me luck!)
