I had spent too much time lately working on everything but printmaking. I needed to throw myself back into it this weekend and I shot a little video on my blog about monotype printmaking. Taking inventory of a lot of the linocuts I have carved out in the last 6 years. There are more now. It was fun to lay these all out and check out all of the experiments, the failures, and the successes of all the linoleum cuts that I made. I think it’s helpful to reflect occasionally on your work. Sometimes day to day, it does not feel like you are actually making progress. But when you can lay all your hours of hard work on a table, it helps you to see what you have accomplished.
